My name is Dmitriy Babichenko and I am a Clinical Professor in the Department of Informatics and Networked Systems (DINS),  School of Computing and Information (SCI), University of Pittsburgh.

Before coming to Pitt, I spent 16 years of my career working in various IT-related industries and has gained quite a bit of experience in educational software design and development, IT project management, and clinical decision support systems.

Since joining SCI in 2013, I have taught courses in programming, data mining, information systems analysis, database management systems, game design, and user experience engineering.

In 2015 I co-founded SCI’s Learning Technologies Laboratory, a lab dedicated to research on learning technologies, serious games, and immersive media.
