Winters are generally slow when it comes to photography. While the downtime gives me a chance to catch up on my reading, do a few geeky projects and to hang out with my family, I miss the excitement of event photography. Another year is coming to an end. This has been an incredibly busy year and fulfilling year – My wife and I had our beautiful daughter Daniella, I completed and aced 3 graduate courses, photographed 19 weddings, 2 corporate events, 7 Bar Mitzvahs, 4 Bat Mitzvahs and 6 engagement sessions and learned to play banjo. I would like to thank all of my friends, family members and clients for being such wonderful people. I wish everyone happy holidays (spend them with your families) and an absolutely incredible new year. My wife and I decided to take our daughter on her first road trip, so I`ll be out of town from December 18 to January 4. My wife and I decided that Daniella was old enough to attempt a long car trip, so this Thanksgiving we went to visit my family in Norfolk. I expected trouble, but Daniella did a great job. She got a bit fussy at one point, but after a puppet show and a nap all was well. I posted all photos from the trip on my Flikr site.
