Aidan`s First Photoshoot
This Sunday I got to hang out with Jodi, Mark & their son Aidan at the Pittsburgh Children`s Museum. Jodi is a wonderful event planner – if you have a wedding coming up, check out her site (http://www.accentsunlimited.net). Aidan was a good sport – he tolerated me for a whole hour without crying. I think he might have even had some fun:)

Jamie`s Bat Mitzvah
It’s two in the morning. I just got home from photographing an amazing Bat Mitzvah and I’m too exhausted to sleep. The Eisners are one of the most amazing families I have ever met – they are such nice, warm and fun people. I met them about three years ago when they hired me to photograph Carly`s Bat Mitzvah. Over the last few years I’ve seen them at a bunch of different events and did their family portraits on several occasions. Tonight I photographed Jamie’s Bat Mitzvah. In my 12 years as a photographer I have seen many great kids, but Jamie blew me away. She was incredibly confident and well-spoken during her Bat Mizvah service; I also found out that she is an amazing singer. So, as I said before, it’s two in the morning and I’m two exhausted to sleep. Therefore, being the geek that I am I decided to post a few photos of this wonderful family. Jamie & Carly

That`s what I do…
I`ve never seen myself work – it just never crossed my mind to ask a videographer for a couple of clips before. Last weekend I photographed a Bat Mitzvah where my friend Mike (studiosid.com/) did the video, and he was nice enough to send me a couple of raw clips. http://vimeo.com/moogaloop.swf?clip_id=11336443&server=vimeo.com&show_title=1&show_byline=1&show_portrait=0&color=&fullscreen=1

First Foray Into Stop-Motion Animation
I wanted to try my hand at stop-motion animation for quite some time. I have some (hopefully) interesting ideas for a couple of projects, but before I committed myself to doing quite a bit of work, I decided to do a trial run. The video below is about 8 seconds long and it took 130 still frames and close to an hour to produce. Animation is tough work! http://vimeo.com/moogaloop.swf?clip_id=11261571&server=vimeo.com&show_title=1&show_byline=1&show_portrait=0&color=&fullscreen=1

So busy…
In the last 4 weeks I photographed 2 weddings, 2 Bat Mitzvahs and an engagement session. I`ve been so incredibly busy with editing that I haven`t had a chance to update any of my sites. I`m going to try to put together a few “highlights” slideshows and post them over the next couple of days.

Doesn`t she have the most amazing smile?
